All Ocean Services was formed to support the Maritime Industry with a diverse Group of Licensed USCG Marine Engineers with hands-on Shipboard Operational Experience, Shore Side Operations coupled with Shipyard Project Management-New Construction-Conversions-Repairs-Refits, Port Engineering and Marine Surveying Services.
Our Technical Staff provide additional services including Purchasing, Logistics and Expediting. Our CEO, Al Favre started his career by attending a Maritime High School aboard the SS John W Brown (Liberty Ship) in New York. From that start he has been in the Marine Industry for over 30 years, sailing as a licensed Marine Engineer and Chief Engineer. Settling in the Northwest and employed with some of the Major Shipyards around the Greater Seattle area, Al worked as a Estimator, Ship Superintendent, and Project Manager, Including Commercial Vessels, Tankers, Cargo, Fishing Industry, Military, Oceanographic Research Vessels, Ferries, High Speed Craft and Yachts. Along with working for Ship Management Companies as their Senior Port Engineer, Al still finds time to Volunteer his services as a Chief Engineer aboard the 1922 Steamer Virginia V, Home Ported in Seattle Washington. This historic vessel is one of the last survivors of the “ Mosquito Fleet " and powered by a 400 H.P triple-expansion steam engine, built in 1898 for the Virginia IV.
